BTS deactivates their Twitter account? [Update]

So here I was trying to just check and see if V had added to his saga of legendary selfies, but when I log on to BTS' twitter page on my PC I get this:

I was a bit confused, but figured it was just my crusty computer acting up, but when I tried it again, I got the same error. So I hopped on mobile, and although this time I could access the page, there was an issue with loading the tweets:

So I quickly hit up Kpop Twitter and the forums to try and find out what was going on and learned I wasn't the only one haven't this issue. But  although many people were in the same predicament as me, others where confused with everyone  who was complaining , as they could access the page just fine.

In true Twitter mess nature, this started to go wild, and people went on crazy theories as to what was going on. And just in general started to have fun with it (lmfao)

But all in all it's seems as though there is just some kind of glitch going on with their account. Hopefully it will be fix soon so I can download that selfie set Jhope posted yesterday.

[Update #1]
The twitter account is back up and running!

[Update #2]
So in response to glitch, there was a rumor circulating that the issue was a result of a "fan" tweeting a video of herself masturbating to the account. This, apparently, caused BTS's twitter to malfunction, while trying to report the content or block the user. Now I knew about this rumor, but chose to leave it out of my original write up on the issue because 1) yikes and 2) I don't really see how that video being sent to their twitter would result in their account suddenly being inactive for certain parts of the worlds and I have yet to see a explanation with 100% sound reasoning. I'm not the most Twitter savvy , but I'm pretty sure there isn't a "block continent" button next to the"block user" button lol. Anyway, Allkpop caught wind of the rumor and posted an article about it to their website. This made the speculation blow up even more, and gave it a lot of legitimacyin many people's eyes, since Allkpop is such a big new source. I , however, still think it's just a coincides that these too incidents happen to have occurred simultaneously, because I still don't see how one could result in the other. Not to mention, there were other accounts that experienced similar glitches yesterday, which supports the idea that is was just an issue with Twitter.

Whether that girl's video cause the Twitter glitch or not, what she did was still extremely over the top and inappropriate, so she better REFLECTTTTTTTT. And it had to be to reply to Suga tweet too. Smdh.  I don't support online harassment no matter what the case is, so please refrain from send her hate (especially since from the looks of her account she's just looking for attention.). I think the best option right now is to ignore her or report her account as I've seen many people doing.

The cast of the suicide squad joins the "Sha Sha Sha" craze!

The "Sha Sha Sha" dance , which originated from Twice's hit song "Cheer Up" , become a hot trend since the song's release in May. Many Kpop stars including SNSD, BTS, and Cosmic Girls have been seen doing the dance but this week we got to witness some international celebrities join in on the fun. In a recent interview, cast members of the upcoming film " Suicide Squad" Karen Fukuhara, Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne were ask to do "Sha Sha Sha" making for very interesting results. Now I've been reading around, and have seen that a lot of people found it cringe-y, and hate that they were " forced" to partake in it, but I feel like that's quite the over-reaction, because it really wasn't that bad. It's  pretty clear that Cara and Karen were a bit confused, but Margot was totally into it making the whole situation really funny.

Check it out in the video below!

Vixx serves us final fantasy teas in new Teaser pictures!

Vixx, who is slated to make a comeback soon, teased up with some concept picture this week.

Now Vixx was never a group I was a hardcore stan of, but a lot of you have been encouraging me to give them a chance. I actually was ready to dive into the Vixx fandom during their "Chained Up" era, but lost interests during their following  releases. Hopefully, this comeback can draw me back in, because they honestly are a charming group of guys.

Let's start off with this Addams family style group shot

Illuminati confirmed
Ken serving us some swooped-bang goodness swooped bang goodness

Hyuk slaying in the most terrifying choker I've ever laid eyes on

Bae in a bath rope and leather skinnies. It's a look ya'll, it's a look

Leo looking like he crawled out of a final fantasy game

IOI releases subunit comeback Teaser for "Whatta Man" + Demo

So this week when IOI released their first picture teaser for their subunit comeback , I was ready to fly to korea and have a WWE style smack down with YMC's entertainment's CEO.
Mess

But with the recent release of the MV teaser, all my faith has been restored! It really looks like they've got a hit on their hands this time around.

They've done a complete 180 from the cute concept they showed in their debut track "Dream Girls" and I'm absolutely loving it!

There is also a demo going around that gives a pretty good idea of what the finished product may sound like

I find it kind of funny that they're doing a song style like this now, when two of their strongest singers, Sejong and Yeonjung won't be participating. I also feel bad for the IOI members who sat out for this comeback because this sounds WAY BETTER than "Dream Girls" and "On the Road" and "Wonderland.

Are you excited for this powerful comeback? Let me know down below!

Sistar releases teaser for impending summer "I Like That"!

I am SO excited for this! It seems like they're finally shaking the summer concept and going for something more mature and sophisticated. Now I won't be completely sold that they've totally switch up their style from their last 3 comebacks until I hear the actual song (the music in the clip isn't long enough to determine anything in my opinion) but I'm still anticipating it and have high hopes!

Sistar comebacks officially on June 21st so mark your calendars!

4minute disbanding wasn't the members' decision? + All four members unfollow Hyuna on instagram.

With the announcement that girl group 4minute would be disbanding this week, although the news was sad, many fans found solace in the fact that it was a decision that was made by all 5 members based on reports from the company and statements about the possibility of disbanding made by members in the past. Even with the news that Hyuna alone would be renewing her contract with Cube, due to 4minute's reputation of being close friends, fans were sure that this was a decision that was supported by her former group members. However, many are beginning to see this situation in a entirely different light with the news that all four members have unfollowed Hyuna on instagram.

In addition, a recent article from news media site Sports World revealed that 4minute's disbandment may have been something the members were forced into. The article explains that iHQ (SidusHQ) owning half of Cube Entertainment, carries a lot of weight in terms on decision made concerning that company. iHQ not seeing 4minute as a profitable group only allowed Hyuna to re-sign her contract, due her success as a solo artist.

As a result of these events, I'm already beginning to see a huge split among the Kpop fandom on the issue; those who believe Hyuna was wrong to re-sign her contract and "betrayed her members", and those who see the other members as jealous and supportive.

Not speaking honestly, for all for of the members to unfollowed her simultaneously like this , in my opinion, may suggest some turmoil between them. Now I'm the first to criticize that fact that people read way too into social media these days, but I just can see this being a coincide. That being said, I don't right taking sides. If Hyuna did re-sign despite the other members not being offered new contracts, I can't blame her. If 4minute intended on signing under a new agency, that would have been quite the task trying to find a company that would be willing to take all of them knowing that the group has been on the decline in terms of popularity. So I would image they'd be in limbo for a while, before getting this settle for a new agency and a comeback, and by then, they may have lost all their steam and relevance. Hyuna has worked really hard to build her solo career over the past years, and had to endure a lot in terms of slut shaming before people finally accepted her. To ask her to give that all up and start brand new when she doesn't have to is honestly a lot.

On the other had, I understand if the members are upset at her decision, especially if it was a case where they had all initially agree to all leave together if things didn't work out. Like a mentioned earlier, it's going to be hard for them to find a new company for the group if that's what they choose to do, but that task will become twice as hard with the lost of their star member. Now this is not me trying to discredit that hard work that the other members have put in throughout the years, as it wasn't just Hyuna who spent hours at dance practice, in recording sessions and filming music video, but its really hard to image 4minute without her.

Overall, I hope this situation doesn't get too out of hand and start to hurt the image of either party. What are you thought?
