G-Friend is having the best week ever

G-friend is experiencing their best promotion cycle ever with the way their newest single "Rough" is slaying left and right. It's only Thursday and they've already taken home three music show awards this week on Show Countdown,

their first win ever on Show Champion:

and Mnet Countdown:


They also managed to take 1st on melon for the first time, beating out digital monsters such as ZICO (I am me you are me), Taeyeon (Rain), MC  the Max (No Matter Where), Crush (Don't Forget) and Baekhyun and Suzy(Dream)


Now a lot of people are saying they expected all this with the success of Me Gustas Tu, but it's still amazing that a group with such humble beginnings was able to rise to success as quick as they did. There are the first non big 3 roup in a while to experience this amount of success as rookies and I love that the fact that Gfriend, (along with groups like BTS and Mamamoo) are showing you don't have to be big 3 to make it big!
