It's that time of year again where K-pop company decide to cash in on the Christmas spirit by dropping holiday theme music. So here's a list on some what I considered the best of the best in terms on Kpop holiday music!10. EXO - December 2014
It's seems like this song was a gift to fans as it was randomly thrown on EXO's Live Album, Exology : Chapter 1. So, what a testimony to how much EXO care for EXO-L because this song is R&B bliss. The runs, harmonies, and smooth vocals show why EXO's vocal line is considered one of the best in Kpop.
9.2Bic - Lonely Christmas
A Simple but powerful acoustic track complete with superior vocals a la the talented duo.
8.JYP Artist - This Christmas
I remember this song being such a treat to me back when I was a hardcore JYP stan because not only was it done in JYP's signature style, but it was cute seeing all the JYP artists interact in the M/V.
7.Ailee - My Grown Up Christmas List
Vocal Goddess slays in her rendition of this David Foster Christmas classic.
6.f(x) - 12.25 (Wish List)
This song literally came out yesterday but I have not stopped listening to it since. This is why f(x) will always be considered one of the most musically solid groups in Kpop; they manage to produce a Christmas song, while maintain their signature, edgy, and electric sound.And that acapella breakdown during the bridge is everything!!!!
5. Big Hit Artists - "Perfect Christmas"
Another easy on the ears R&B tracks with outstanding vocals coursteousy of the Big Hit crew. My only critique is that I wished it would have feature more Big Hit artists!
4. EXO - Unfair
The second EXO track to be featured on my and also another track that hasn't really been out for long. To be honest, I don't thinks it's technically even a Christmas song, butsince it was release on their holiday album, Sing For You, it counts! In my opinion, this is the best song on the album and really does a good job showcasing and honing in on every members' vocal strengths. The lyrics are super adorable too!.
3. EXO- My Turn to Cry
This is the last EXO song, I swear! From their first holiday album, Miracles in December, this R&B ballad is a strong stand out in EXO's overall discography. The emotion that the vocals line is able to exude on this bring me to the edge of tears every time I take a listen.
2. BoA - Meri Kuri (Korean Version)
The Japanese version of this song is such a classic BoA single, but she also holds it down in this version too!
1. Ra.D - Wish me a Merry Christmas
One of my K-R&B kings totally comes through in this beautiful holiday track.
