Top Dances of 2014

2014 has come to a close, so let's look back at the choreography that had us moving our feet all last year!

10. BTS - Danger

This is one of my favorite BTS songs to date and the choreography plays a big part in that. The song itself is very power and the dance matches it toe to toe.  I never ever thought I'd ever use this to describe a dance, but...it was like so rugged (Idk what is grammar)? Every time I watch this video, the number one thing that goes through my mind is "these guys are really charming!"

9. Orange Caramel - Catellena

My alien queens! Orange Caramel are known for their quirky moves and they didn't disappoint with Catellena. Catellena is the perfect dance because it's so accessible; the moves are simple but fun, and they have the ability to get you hype!

8. AoA - Like a Cat

AOA slowly made their way into my hearts this year with "Short Hair", but "Like a Cat" did me in. This dance is so catchy. At first I thought the whole cat theme was a bit strange, but now I see it as fun ~ And I love how this dance manages to be both sexy and playful.

7.Taemin - Danger

I'm not sure if this is me stanning for Taemin or Ian Eastwood but this choreography was SSSSSSSSOOOO dope. This dance really stood out to me particularly because of slow and intricate moves. You would expect a song like this to have Taemin throwing himself all over the place but instead the moves were very contained, while still being full of energy. It definitely had an overall MJ feel, but it managed to stop just short of being a tacky knock off.

6. F(x) - Red Light

Red Light just brought me one step closer to my inevitable fate as a f(x) stan because whoa. F(x) has also been a group that I pinned as chic but Red Light introduced a whole new level of bad ass into the mix . What I love most about the dance was how it brought together the elegance of vouguing and the power of hip hop into one set of choreography. F(x) is just so freaking cool,, I literally don't have words
